Further logo development and final...

After a lot more development, and considering what was wanted, I have changed the logo again and gone back to my original idea of hand drawn type.

Final design:

I have chosen to go ahead and use this one because I felt that it was the clearest and worked best out of my developments. I have changed the shading by keeping the darker areas and removing the highlights. I have then added a few 'hundreds and thousands' type sprinkles on the odd letter instead. I have kept to just two colour and used a tint. I added the shading by using a tint of the same colour and then changed the opacity for it to give the shading effect.

2nd choice:

You might not be able to see the very subtle different between this and the one above. However if you look closely you will see that the shading is slightly different on the letters. I chose not to go with this one because I felt that the shading was becoming too fussy and I had to remember it was just going to be a logo. I didn't want to run the risk of over complicating it.
